The Victim.

Wendy White was a wealthy woman who had many friends and just as many enemies.  Although she was frugal with her money, she never failed to maintain her luxurious lifestyle. She came from old money passed down for many generations and was able to double her income when she married Warren White, a wealthy Wall Streeter who always seemed to know what investments to make and which ones to stay away from.
While Wendy had many different philanthropic ventures throughout her life, they all ended in scandal or dishonesty and always gained her an enemy or two.
Wendy was not the most faithful wife (having had more than one affair in her life), nor the most trustworthy family member (cheating out people who cared about her). Therefore when she turned up murdered, the list of suspects was quite large.
